STEMulators

Keren is a freshman at Harvard University.  At her high school, Archbishop Molloy, she was a peer tutor, the President of the Girl’s Empowerment for Real-Life Leadership Club for the 2021-2022 school year, the Mock Trial team, the Afro-Caribbean Club, and the Stanner Players Drama Club, where she was both an actor and a member of the executive board.


Keren is an active member of the Ignite Youth Ministry of the Greater Allen Cathedral in Jamaica, New York, where she serves in ministry leadership as a worship leader and an Officer.


She has been a peer tutor at her school since freshman year of high school for Algebra I and Geometry. She is proficient in elementary, middle, and early high school math concepts. Keren hopes to encourage her students to not only do the work, but understand the concepts behind it.



Ms. Kyla Jones graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. She currently works as the Assistant Division Traffic Engineer for the North Carolina Department of Transportation. 


Kyla also enjoys the arts. She is a poet, spoken word artist, published author and hosts her own Open Mic Night. 

Kyla has worked with children in various capacities over the past ten years.  She enjoys inspiring the next generation.  She is proficient in elementary, high school and beginning engineering concepts.

Mrs. Anika Jones was born and raised in New York and has a Masters of Science in Elementary Education Grades 1-6. She has been teaching for 17 years. Two years in the private sector and fifteen years in public schools. She has extensive experience in teaching all subjects, but has spent 6 years with a main focus on literacy. 

Anika is married with three children and loves teaching. Her favorite aspect about teaching is observing how much students grow from the beginning to the end of year in regards to their level of independence, academic as well as social abilities.



Originally from New York City, Ms. Robinn Poole has been in the teaching field for 14 years. She loves the education process and aiding students in their learning journey. 

Robinn is a high school/middle school biology teacher  at heart, but loves working with the younger students as well. She has recently moved into the administrative field, but still has a great love for working directly with students. She is excited to STEMulate your child and help push them to the next level educationally. 

Kimberly Jones currently serves as a Project Manager for the New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation (NYSTEC). She previously worked with the New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH), Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP) providing support on various Medicaid initiatives, including the strategic design and implementation of numerous maternal and child health pilots and projects. Kimberly earned her Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Government Information Strategy Management, and a Certificate of Graduate Study in Public Sector Management from the University at Albany, Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy. She has a Bachelor’s from the University at Albany with concentrations in Business Administration and Economics and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.


Ms. Meredith Pressler is a certified chemistry teacher and has over 20 years experience teaching math and science to all types of learners.  Ms. Pressler has an M.A. in special education and an M.S. in chemistry.  Ms. Pressler is passionate about having fun while learning.  She loves to challenge students, encourages students to be curious about their own learning and loves to sneak in a joke to hear her students laugh.  

When Ms. Pressler is not teaching, she spends time with her two children and her 3 dogs.  



Janessa Dawn was born and raised in the Philippines. She graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Technical Teacher Education at the University of Southeastern Philippines and has a Master of Arts in Home Economics. She has been teaching for 5 years in public schools. 

Janessa is a junior high school teacher teaching  Technology and Livelihood Education | Music, Arts, Health and Physical Education | and Electronic Product Assembly and Servicing. 

In her every lesson, she inspires, challenges, and supports her students in creating a lasting impact that extends far beyond the classroom.  

Her love for graphic designing and being a digital creator lies in transforming ideas into compelling designs that leave a lasting impression. Janessa is committed to creating work that is visually stunning and strategically effective.
